How to connect

Follow these 5 simple steps and you should be able to login at any time

Step1: Download the latest Lineage II client from here

Step2: Install the game. After you have installed the client, start the game normally and let it update to the latest game files. After that, close the updater

Step3: Download the latest patch.

Step4: Edit your hosts file. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and open with notepad. Add the line:

216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com

so your hosts file should look like this:

216.107.250.194 nprotect.lineage2.com

Step5: Load the game from l2.exe located in the system subfolder of your lineage2 directory.


That is all you need to do to login. Note that sometimes the server goes down due to technical issues.
